Based on a two component elastomeric systems of Neoprene modified
asphaltic emulsion, both components are waterborne and are applied
using a special plural component wand. Seal Select products are
applied at ambient air temperature creating a seamless membrane.
INDEPENDENT MEMBRANE STRENGTH:
Seal Select has independent strength equal to or exceeding the
highest quality sheet membranes.
ELIMINATION OF THE MAJOR CAUSE OF WATER MEMBRANE FAILURE:
Seal Select products remove the major cause of failure, being applied
on site without joints or penetration details, which require joints
and additional sealants.
REDUCED SUSCEPTIBILITY TO MECHANICAL DAMAGE:
Seal Select products are extremely tough, significantly reducing
the second main cause of membrane failure.
ELIMINATION OF TRACKING:
Seal Select systems are designed to not allow water to track behind
the membrane, as it is 100% permanently bonded to the substrate.

How To Specify SEAL SELECT - TUNSEAL
PRODUCT
Supply and install SEAL SELECT TUNSEAL non-toxic, water based neoprene
modified bitumen emulsion applied in tandem with a water based catalyst
using SEAL SELECT designed and manufactured hydraulic ratio equipment.
Tunseal shall be applied at the minimum specified nominal thickness
for tunnel applications of 2mm.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
The membrane system must have a finished nominal build of 2mm achieved
in a singe pass application with 100% bond to the substrate, with
the exception of situations requiring bond breaker tapes such as
expansion joints and other areas as determined by specification
or construction drawings.
Performance Specification of Seal Select:
1. Non-injurious, non-toxic, non-fuming and non-flammable, during
and post application.
2. Potable water safe and environmentally non hazardous.
3. Capable of rapid, spray gun applied, seam-free application.
4. Capable of application between 1 and 40 degree centigrade.
5. Capable of simple and continuous application to complex substrates
including up
stands, projections, comers, fulgo drains and multi-faceted surfaces.
6. Capable of 100% adhesion and thereby eliminate possible water
tracking under the
membrane
7. Capable of single pass application to achieve nominal membrane
thickness up to
4mm on horizontal and vertical surfaces
8. Capable of elastic crack opening from 1 mm to 1 Omm @ 2.5mm standard
applied dry
film thickness
9. Capable of 95% elastic recovery
10. Capable of withstanding 30 meters of structure backed hydrostatic
head pressure
11. Capable of limited pedestrian trafficking immediately after
application
12. Capable of permitting overlaid construction within 48 hours

concrete, timber and
